Our Team

Ishmael Joseph
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Ishmael Joseph is the Chief Executive Officer of PEEPA, bringing with him over 20 years of leadership experience in public sector reform, corporate governance, and strategic management.

Prior to his appointment at PEEPA, Mr. Joseph held senior executive roles in both government and parastatal organizations, where he successfully led initiatives in privatization, public enterprise restructuring, and organizational turnaround strategies. He is widely recognized for his expertise in policy development, stakeholder engagement, and resource optimization.

As CEO, Mr. Joseph is responsible for driving PEEPA’s strategic vision of enhancing efficiency, accountability, and sustainability within Botswana’s public enterprises. He works closely with government, the private sector, and international partners to ensure that the Agency delivers on its mandate of evaluating, monitoring, and reforming state-owned enterprises.

Mr. Joseph holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics and Management from the University of Botswana. He has also completed executive leadership programs in corporate governance and strategic finance.

Outside of work, he is passionate about mentorship and capacity building, regularly contributing to leadership development programs for young professionals in Botswana.

John Little
Deputy Chief Executive

Mr. John Little is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PEEPA, bringing with him over 20 years of leadership experience in public sector reform, corporate governance, and strategic management.

Prior to his appointment at PEEPA, Mr. Little held senior executive roles in both government and parastatal organizations, where he successfully led initiatives in privatization, public enterprise restructuring, and organizational turnaround strategies. He is widely recognized for his expertise in policy development, stakeholder engagement, and resource optimization.

Mosikare Kele Mogegeh

As a highly experienced marketing and communications expert with over a decade of experience, I have a proven track record of success in developing and executing effective marketing strategies, managing social media campaigns, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and leading teams to achieve business objectives.

My expertise in brand management, business development, and leadership has helped me to consistently drive growth and achieve positive results for a variety of organizations, from startups to established corporations. My strategic thinking and analytical skills, combined with my ability to communicate effectively and build relationships, have made me an invaluable asset to any team.

Some proffessional achievements:
⚫ Public Enterprises Evaluation and Privatisation rebranding fron the Botswana Coat of Arms to the current brand.
⚫ Leading the BTC IPO marketing which, despite being the largest IPO at the time and restricted to citizens only, was highly successful with an over subscription of over 60%.
